“Don’t let the insurance company take advantage of you, by telling you what you are owed and what is covered.”

The truth is, Insurance carriers look for ways to cut your claim. That could be by their interpretation of coverage, their damage repair cost and/or scope of damages. In any event, you the insured loses. Most insured’s are willing to accept whatever their insurance carrier tells them and know none the better.

Most insured’s believe that the insurance companies adjuster is there for them. The truth is the insurance company’s adjuster’s job is to save the company money, and pay the least that it can to settle your claim. That is why they are named adjuster’s; they adjust the claim or deny it to favor the carrier.

What you will run into with your claim is company adjusters that make mistakes, don’t care or miss things because they are overloaded with claims, adjusters that just look to cut value of your claim for their own motivation and adjusters that do not have the experience in construction or with policy interpretation. In addition to these issues they are trained by your insurance carrier on how to adjust claims, and how to think, to reduce the money paid to you for your claim.

As your Public Adjuster, my job is to adjust the claim up and get you all that you’re owed. I do that by interpreting policy coverage and look for additional coverages, secure supporting evidence while creating a scope and an estimate of repairs that favor you. Besides that we add the element of passion, we realize that you pay for your policy and in most cases do not receive what you are owed, you are cheated. This is unacceptable to me and I truly believe that it is imperative that you receive the full value of the policy you pay for, and more.
